Former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Maya Hayes' dance background is so impressive that she is now Co-Director of the Cary Ballet Conservatory's Jazz Dance training program and performing company in North Carolina. Before assuming her current post, Maya cheered for America's Team in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Prior to her DCC days, she was a dancer for the world champion Chicago Bulls and the founder of the Lady Dazzlers dance team at Jackson State University where she earned a degree in Speech and Dramatic Arts. |
DANCE DIRECTOR | Maya has performed all over the world as a backup dancer for Bobby Rush, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, and as a member of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Show Group. 03/22/2008 Alumni Maya Christine Hayes is in her last year as a Dallas Mavericks Dancer for the 2007-2008 season. She is opening a new dance and cheer studio in Carrollton, Texas in April 2008.
