DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS
UNITED STATES ORGANIZATION
DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TOURS:
"America & Her Music"

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have entertained the service people of all branches of the U.S. military more than any other entertainment entity.  For more than three decades, America's Sweethearts have sacrificed holidays with their families to spread cheer and bring a touch of home to the men and women on duty overseas.  Their eagerness and commitment to display their unique brand of showmanship has garnered them the Spirit of Hope award (named after the late Bob Hope), the highest honor for those who entertain the troops.  The DCC are often accompanied by other entertainers, most notably Wayne Newton, who has added the ladies in white and blue to his entourage for annual Fourth of July tours.  They have also shared the stage with the likes of Britney Murphy, Jessica Simpson, Shaggy, Bo Derek and Ruth Pointer, to name a few.  America's Sweethearts embark on at least two tours each year, bringing joy to the hearts of soldiers, sailors and marines with a show replete with singing, dancing, costume changes and interaction with the audience.  This show is known as "America and Her Music."
