Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders
SHOWGROUP
Every year the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) select 12 to 16 of their best dancers to comprise the unique troupe of entertainers known as The Show Group. This elite group of women represents the organization around the world. They're the ones you see at autograph signings, corporate events, grand openings, state fairs, telethons, baseball games, hockey games, college football games and charity events. But The Show Group is probably most famous for its annual United States Organizatin/Department of Defense (USO/DOD) tours to spread cheer and entertain the troops overseas. The DCC Show Group was the first cheerleading squad/dance troupe requested to bring a taste of home to the men and women of the US military. They have made more USO tours than any other entertainment entity in the world. Their relationship with the USO/DOD runs so deep that the DCC donates some of the proceeds from its annual swimsuit calendar to the organization every year. The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders also received the prestigious Spirit of Hope Award for their contribution to those who risk their lives so that we can enjoy our freedom. Thank you to the DCC Show Group and to the men and women of the US armed forces.
